Avago:                  AVGO:       Above: $136.38   October 115 Call Options

Criteo:                  CRTO         Buy Range: $46.60 to $49.00 Oct. 40 Call Options

Canada:  Currently a Down/Down Market, with the MTI at .84. VectorVest does not advocate buying stocks (options) at the this time

Dominion Diamond DDC       Above: $24.70     October 20 Call Options

Great West Life:   GWO          Above: $37.74     October 34 Call Options

Can. Tire              CTC.A        Moved up strongly on Friday (+$5.51) on 147% volume following a fair earnings report and news of buying 12 Target leases.

Look for follow thru on Tuesday, it is a BUY for Aggressive Investors.

August $120’s or November 120’s. November Calls are at a high premium.

For Prudent Investors, look for a close above resistance on a new high of $137.58 to purchase

  1. Don, I am curious as to how you decide which stock to buy (or sell) options on.
    In US NHTC has VST rating of 1.62, RT 1.92?

    Over the years I have bought and sold a lot of CDN call options and done quite well. Now it is time to do some US thus the question.

    I follow VectorVest, I read a number of publications, and I usually end up by using VectorVest to evaluate to top stock among a few selected stocks.
    In the US, a great search is Vector Vector 1.25.

    The choices are many, in the end, it comes down to a personal preference. Not a great answer, but It’s a selection process.

    The zuS market is In a Confirmed Up, Canada is a Confirmed Down, hence leaning to USA.
